"FPWD KAPETAL MONITORING VISIT"

On February 9, 2023, AMBAG representatives conducted a follow-up visit to the Federation of Persons with Disabilities (FPWD) beneficiaries in Bagong Silang, Caloocan City, as part of the ongoing monitoring and support program for KAPETAL recipients. FPWD – Bagong Silang, a federation established in 2013, provides assistance to persons with disabilities residing in this resettlement community, empowering them through various socio-economic initiatives.

During the visit, AMBAG representatives engaged in meaningful discussions with the beneficiaries, focusing on the progress of their funded projects, the challenges they encountered, and their future business plans. This hands-on approach is a testament to AMBAG’s commitment to not only provide financial support but also to ensure the sustainable growth and success of each beneficiary’s entrepreneurial journey.

The monitoring sessions are crucial in bridging the gap between financial assistance and practical implementation. By understanding the on-ground realities faced by the beneficiaries, AMBAG can tailor its support and guidance to address specific needs, fostering an environment where businesses thrive despite the adversities faced by persons with disabilities.

This initiative underscores the impact of targeted financial aid on improving livelihoods and empowering marginalized families. Through continued collaboration and support, AMBAG and FPWD are creating a more inclusive and resilient community where persons with disabilities can achieve economic self-sufficiency and dignity.
